Advanced Infusion Knowledge Portal (IKP) Analysis

Overview of the Infusion Knowledge Portal for the Alaric System data. Review of twenty-six Key Performance Indicator and available reports.

Report Analytics

Practical applications of the standard reports and scheduled reporting features.

CQI Reporter Overview with Analysis Process

Tour of the software with its available chart and report output. Utilizing the available filters to walk through an analysis process of top alerting infusions.

Infusion Analytics Service Packet Review

An overview of this report will be provided, including defining terms used, logistical tips and guidance on how to gather clinical insights. (Intended audience: recipients of this report who are familiar with the Knowledge Portal for infusion)

Clinical Strategies for Library Management

Applied session reviewing the impact of clinical practice and the drug library on the infusion data – including topics such as therapies, bolus and clinical alarms. Discussion will support how to optimize the drug library and clinical practice to enhance patient safety, support and standardize nursing workflow and decrease nuisance alerts/alarms.

Infusion Guiding Principles to Drive Outcomes

Discussion of the four pillars identified by ISMP’s Guidelines for Optimizing Safe Implementation and Use of Smart Infusion Pumps to afford sharing of best practices to identify action items where assessed as deficient.
